Storage...Storage...and more Storage
Autumn is upon us in Montana. The aspens are beginning to change into their golden crimson yellows, and there's garden fresh vegetables to harvest, winter gear to replenish, and stocking up for winter rev's into full gear. When building custom homes, one of the choices we always double check with clients with in their beginning design plans is storage. Living rurally, in a mountain town, and/or often navigating Montana winter weather inevitably requires a bit more storage than initially thought to be needed. This article shares a few ideas on how to incorporate and/or upgrade your storage system in your custom builds, remodels or for your current home. We find the places to insure plenty of storage is the kitchen and master bedroom/bath areas, and it also helps with resale...if that's an avenue you're headed with your custom home at some point in your building journey. Of course additional closet, pantry, linen areas are always a plus, and, in Montana, one designated area for gear has been a priority in all our custom builds.
